What is Eclipse?

Eclipse is a free, self-hosted personal toolkit that includes a budget tracker, todo lists, encrypted peer-to-peer chat, a tax estimator, a forum, and a developer blog. It is built in public with ASP.NET Core and deployed on a personal VPS.

Is it really free?

Yes. Eclipse is completely free to use. There are no premium tiers, no ads, and no data monetization. It is a personal project built for learning and sharing.

How is my data stored?

All data is stored in a PostgreSQL database on a self-hosted VPS. Your data is not shared with third parties, and no analytics or tracking cookies are used. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. You can request account deletion through your profile settings, or by contacting the developer directly.

Is the source code available?

Yes. The full source code is available on GitHub.

What technologies does Eclipse use?

Eclipse is built with ASP.NET Core 10, Entity Framework Core, PostgreSQL, SignalR for real-time features, and Vite for frontend bundling. It follows clean architecture with four projects: Domain, Application, Infrastructure, and Web.
