Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
Eclipse is a personal project. Your privacy is important, and this policy explains what data is collected, how it is stored, and what your rights are.
What data is collected
When you register, Eclipse stores your username and email address. If you use the app's features, Eclipse stores the data you create: budget entries, todo items, chat messages, forum posts, and blog comments. No data is collected from visitors who do not register.
Where data is stored
All data is stored in a PostgreSQL database on a self-hosted virtual private server (VPS). There is no cloud provider or third-party database service involved. The server is maintained by the developer.
Cookies
Eclipse uses essential cookies only - for authentication sessions and antiforgery protection. No tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies are used.
Third-party services
Eclipse uses Resend to send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset). Your email address is shared with Resend solely for this purpose. No other third-party services receive your data.
Data retention and deletion
Your data is kept as long as your account exists. You can request account and data deletion at any time through your profile settings or by contacting the developer.
Analytics and tracking
Eclipse does not use any analytics services. There is no Google Analytics, no tracking pixels, and no fingerprinting. Server logs record standard HTTP request information (IP address, timestamp, path) for operational purposes and are not shared.
